Culture is often described as ‘the way we do things around here’. Something hard to codify. Something in the air. Of course, previously it was wedded to a place. A place people went. Where culture was learned primarily through observation.
When we founded Otonomee the world said that you could not build Culture in a fully remote company.
We knew differently and believed that anywhere ever you had a group of people, in person or on line, a culture would develop and grow—whether you chartered that growth positively or not.
