Otonomee was founded in the midst of the pandemic in 2020 with a clear vision: to offer a fast, flexible, and remote alternative to the traditional BPOs. With over 20 years of legacy in the outsourcing industry, our management team has provided customer support solutions to some of the world's most iconic tech companies. From day one, Otonomee has stood on three key pillars – to benefit our People, Partners, and Community. The company's purpose is clear: "to unlock growth potential for People, Customers, and our Communities", envisioning to be the preferred partner for purpose-driven organizations, emphasizing exceptional service, employee experience, and sustainable workplaces.
Our journey to becoming a B Corp was a natural evolution, driven by our deep commitment to making a positive impact. We embarked on this path inspired by the profound changes in the way people relate to work during the pandemic. Aidan O'Shea, our Co-Founder and CEO, shared his perspective: "Otonomee was founded during Covid in early 2020 at a time when people everywhere were re-assessing their relationship with work. I had experienced working for a Global leader in sustainability in Telus and how their approach was positively impacting their employees, customers, and the communities they operate in. This influenced our views on the type of business we wanted to create."
