Now in its 26th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is one of Ireland’s most respected and competitive technology award programmes — celebrating innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth across the island of Ireland. The programme showcases both private and publicly listed companies that have demonstrated visionary strategy, strong management, and the ability to scale successfully in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

The 2025 cohort of Fast 50 companies represents a strong and resilient technology sector in Ireland. This year’s ranked businesses collectively generated €1.76 billion in total annual revenues, with an average growth rate of 442%. Together, they employ over 7,500 people, and notably, 12 companies made the ranking for the first time — showcasing a steady pipeline of fresh innovation.

He also highlighted a major trend shaping this year’s landscape:

“A standout from this year's awards is that companies with Artificial Intelligence (AI) embedded in their operations are seeing the biggest growth — but access to skilled employees who can prompt and deploy AI effectively will be crucial.”

What it takes to be a Fast 50 Company

To be included in the Deloitte Fast 50, companies must not only demonstrate strong growth but also meet strict criteria. Among the requirements, the full list of which can be found here:

• A minimum of four years of financial accounts
  
• Headquarters in Ireland and majority Irish ownership
  
• Annual revenues of at least €50,000 in the base year and €1 million in the most recent financial year
  
• A core focus on technology — whether through proprietary IP, research and development, or unique tech-driven solutions
