Power skills are the uniquely human capabilities that determine outcomes when there's no script. They include experience, empathy, resilience, maturity, sound judgment and commercial awareness. We know that these skills can separate an ordinary customer experience from a great one, so our experienced training teams proactively develop these skills right across our whole organization.

Why is Otonomee fully remote, and how does that benefit clients?

The remote-first model means we can hire the best people regardless of location. This raises the quality bar considerably, and means our teams are available across time zones and in multiple languages in ways the traditional outsourcing model, based on teams working from big buildings in high-cost, overpopulated cities, cannot match.

What does your high agent retention rate actually mean for my customers?

It means the person handling your customer's issue today probably handled a similar issue yesterday and will be able to solve it again tomorrow. High team attrition has long been an issue in outsourcing, and clients and their customers were the big losers. Our team members stay for the long term (in our most recent staff survey, 92% said they would recommend working at Otonomee to a family member or friend), and this continuity builds brand fluency, speeds up resolution times, and reduces escalations, so our clients’ customers feel genuinely heard, not just processed.
